As a photography studio owner and while employed with Mirella Dancewear as Visuals Production Manager I had many opportunities to successfully manage complex projects from inception to completion. In addition to product photography, my responsibilities at Mirella included assisting the Webmaster with annual website redesigns and other web based projects. So began my interest in web design and development.

After leaving Mirella I retrained at Seattle Central Community College, where I developed a broad base of skills across multiple disciplines. My training was primarily web design with ancillary training in web development, network design, database and programming. I sought a wider skill set in order to understand the capabilities and needs of future coworkers and clients. As part of my education, I sought, and was awarded, an internship with Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR).

As an intern I worked with the Parks web manager and later hired on (part time) to maintain the web pages for the Parks Planning and Development Department. In this role, as IT Specialist, I also successfully managed and developed two important projects.

The part time nature of my employment with SPR has allowed me to offer web development and creative services freelance. This diversifies the community I serve with my skills in web design, web development, photographic imaging, digital image enhancement and project management.

Opportunities for combining web, photographic and problem solving skills bring rewarding team experiences and satisfaction from helping organizations and individuals with their creative and web related needs.
